Mr. York is a Forensic Electrical Engineer with Forensic & Failure Analysis.  Mr. York is a professional engineer in the state of New York with over 35 years of experience.  Mr. York has a deep knowledge of building system, facility design, commissioning of medium and low voltage power distribution systems, arc flash classifications, and failure analysis of a wide variety of interdisciplinary systems.

Mr. York has worked as a Forensic Electrical Engineer for over five years. Mr. York conducts and leads site examinations for multi-party joint investigations.

He performs destructive and non-destructive testing and analysis of electrical systems and components, generates fire scene reports and diagrams, including detailed cause analysis and provides data for origin opinion. Mr. York provides expert engineering opinion in subrogation, liability, personal injury, and product failure cases.

At Guardian Industries, Mr. York provided electrical design, drafting, and construction management for the installation of glass processing equipment and provided engineering support for several plant start-ups. He managed, designed, and maintained site security systems and personnel. Mr. York designed and installed medium and low voltage power distribution systems, managed electrical and mechanical engineering and maintenance support to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues for several production line operations. Mr. York provided electrical design for Lockheed Martin in installations for laboratory facilities, military power systems and generators, electromagnetic interference facilities, lighting/motor retrofits, security systems, telephone systems, HVAC systems, spray painting booths/hazardous locations, lightening protection, and medium and low voltage power distribution. Mr. York earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology. He continues his education with courses in engineering and fire investigation.
