Frequently Asked Questions

We get that a lot!” Here are some answers to some great questions we get fielded on a regular basis.

How Do I Hire FFA?

You can call our office at (315) 451-3400 or email FFA’s Office Adminstrator, Mallorie, to set up new cases.

What information pertaining to or specifics of the case is needed for you to formulate a quote for your services? Will you typically correspond with a firm to ask additional questions of the case before giving a quote?

We typically have new clients fill out our “New Assignment Form” which gives us the information we need to set up a new case; Including date of loss, loss location, name/address of insured, claim/ file number, etc.

If an estimate is required, a quick telephone call to acquire some additional information regarding the site condition and scope of work is usually all it takes. The estimate will include the scope of work as well as a cost estimate to include time and materials to complete the assignment.

A conflict check will be ran with the collected information on complex files before proceeding with work on a file.

What is a typical “Estimated Time of Arrival” for you to travel to the site of the case?

The estimated Time of Arrival is completely dependent on the conditions as required by the site and investigation. Typically, 24 to 48 hours is the minimum response time.
