Stuart Morrison, PE, DFE, IAAI-CFI

Stuart Morrison specializes in forensic engineering and the analysis of cause of loss. Mr. Morrison is considered an expert in the field of Fire Origin and Cause, Forensic Engineering, Mechanical Design and Analysis, Code Analysis, Vibration Testing and Analysis, and Solid Mechanics and Materials.

He has over 30 years of experience in fire investigation and the analysis of mechanical and electrical equipment, including events related to the cause of fires. He also has over 30 years’ experience as a volunteer firefighter, and has served as a municipal fire investigator.

Mr. Morrison has worked with equipment and systems including HVAC equipment, commercial and industrial process and heating equipment, rotating equipment, and residential electrical systems and appliances. Mr. Morrison also has extensive experience in gas systems and explosion investigations.

He was a fire investigator with Montgomery County and is a certified fire investigator with designations including IAAI-CFI and NAFI-CFEI. He is a Board-Certified Diplomate in Forensic Engineering as a Senior member of NAFE and a board member of the NY State Chapter of the IAAI.
