JAMES A. PALUMBO, R.L.A., ASLA

Mr. Palumbo is a forensic consultant for Forensic & Failure Analysis. Mr. Palumbo is a NYS Registered Landscape Architect whose experience includes projects ranging from existing site restoration and redevelopment to new site development.

He has worked at Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt for 30 years and is currently one of the firm’s principals, serving as firm secretary and landscape architecture principal.

He is also a consultant for Forensic & Failure Analysis, Inc. on an as-needed basis.

Mr. Palumbo’s responsibilities include overseeing the site department staff and coordinating the efforts of the design team. He has worked on a wide variety of sites ranging from academic to municipal and recreational to medical.

Mr. Palumbo’s areas of expertise include site analysis and design, visual renderings, construction documents review, code compliance review, and assisting in obtaining approvals for state and local requirements.

Mr. Palumbo earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry in 1993 and his Associates Degree in Ornamental Horticulture at SUNY Farmingdale in 1989.

Mr. Palumbo has conducted expert forensic evaluations of site elements (i.e. driveways, parking lots, sidewalks) for personal injury cases, code evaluations, and site and pavement conditions.
